Hiway GeoStabilization is committed to maintaining an excellent standard in all aspects of business operations. In keeping with this philosophy, we maintain an active focus on Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Environmental Performance.
Hiway GeoStabilization employs a Group Zero Harm Manager, who is focussed on ensuring the business achieves its stated objectives in relation to Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Environmental Performance.
Our commitment to maintaining and supporting this function within our business enables our management and technical teams to deliver exceptional results on each project, with as little risk as possible. Hiway Hiway GeoStabilization’s Zero Harm Performance is industry–leading, with TRIFR, LTI and MTI levels well below sector standards.
The health, safety and wellbeing of our people is at the heart of our Zero Harm systems.
An unrelenting focus on maintaining the highest Health and Safety Standards has enabled the business to meet the Tertiary Status requirements for ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices (WSMP). This certification is the highest level possible in New Zealand, and has only been achieved by a select few organisations.
At an individual level, every Hiway GeoStabilization employee undertakes appropriate training for their role using the ‘Site Safe’ and ‘Operate Safe’ accreditation system and our in-house competency programme. All staff are also given regular Health and Safety and First Aid training, and receive regular health check-ups as a benefit of their employment.
